I love a lot of Japanese animation! Studio Ghibli's Arrietti springs to mind for fairies... and as for non-Japanese films, I recently enjoyed 'School for Good and Evil' - which wasn't afraid to embrace its fairy fantasy elements.

I also note that you have an interest in yōkai - which I wrote about HERE.

Also, as you write fiction in the horror genre, check out 'Horror Hounds' as a possible publication outlet. (They've published a couple of mine.)
