It seems to have turned clear 'publication' layout into a straightforward blog - I just destroyed one of my publications, similarly... but as with DMD, it's the content that really matters, I suppose. Though ease of navigation was one of the plus points of Medium that differentiated it from standard weblogs... let's hope the beta stage makes it better eventually, eh?

Addendum — the Medium Help Desk were more than helpful and reverted my ‘destroyed’ publication back to how I liked it prior to the beta thing. So that was good.
