Robocop has a special place in my personal film 'biography' - I reviewed it at the time of release, after an advanced press screening - I think it may've been the first I went to as a bona fide media journalist.

Then when it came out on rental VHS, I won a copy from entering a competition in a new film magazine, called Empire, so had to go out an buy a new-fangled VHS player to watch it on!

All good memories from around the time I met my future wife, too! Doesn't seem that long ago really!
