So glad the piece 'spoke to you' - I find it dificult to write about my favourite artists, of which Klee is certainly one, usually because I love artists that cannot be easily pinned-down and analysed. Sometimes, the mystery is what draws one back to their work again and again...
You're spot on with the 'meditation' and 'contemplation' - I think Klee would be happy with that approach to his works, many of which, I believe, he thought of as 'spiritual'.
