Now, I’ve been wracking my brains trying to remember that connection with a mathematician and Dali’s tesseract from ‘Corpus Hypercubus’ (1954) … and I think it must be Thomas F Banchoff — he wrote this account of his meetings and collaborations with Salvador Dali, beginning in the 1970s, in this PDF — it’s a fascinating read :
