This anime looks beautiful and visually inventive. I know I'll probably be rooting for the Mononoke spirits (even the one that looks like an electric shaver head in the trailer) but this is now topping our watchlist.

I love that Japanese and other Asian storytelling comes from a different cultural tradition to the dominant US/Euro-centric media. The narrative styles and structures are sometimes a refreshing challenge but it beats the predictability of nearly everything else on Netflix!
