My favourite Zdzisław Beksiński paintings tend to be his more fantasy orientated ones (rather than those too explicitly referencing the horrors of war which can be too powerful to 'enjoy' just like the darker offerings of Alfred Kubin) .

Nevermore is a great one and suggests an interesting narrative, as does Loup — probably my favourite of his — which could be part of the same narrative...
